Acrylic requires care during cleaning — only soft cloths or acrylic-safe magnetic cleaners should be used on the interior panels, as metal or coarse pads will permanently scratch the surface. Over time acrylic develops minor surface scratches that can be polished out with acrylic scratch remover, unlike glass which cannot be polished once scratched.
