ADA ECA (Easy Carbon Acid) is a highly concentrated liquid containing iron chelated with organic acids, designed to maximize iron bioavailability in CO2-injected planted aquariums. The organic acid complex not only facilitates iron uptake but also promotes the synthesis of red and orange pigments in demanding stem plants like Rotala and Ludwigia species. Due to its high concentration, only very small doses are required — typically 1ml per 60L added to the filter intake or alongside the daily fertilizer dose. Overuse can lead to algae blooms, so precise dosing is essential. Best suited for experienced aquarists managing high-tech, high-light aquascapes.
