ADA Pro Scissors Curved

ADA Pro Scissors Curved feature a gently curved blade geometry that allows aquascapers to trim plant growth on surfaces, around hardscape, and in recessed areas that straight scissors cannot access comfortably. The curved blades are particularly well-suited for trimming moss mats attached to rocks and driftwood, maintaining the sculptural form of moss balls, and cutting plants growing in the lee of stones where a horizontal straight cut is impractical.

Constructed from the same high-grade Japanese stainless steel as the ADA straight scissors, the curved blades maintain their edge sharpness over extended use. The spring-loaded pivot returns blades to the open position after each cut, enabling rapid, repetitive snipping without hand strain during long maintenance sessions.

The curved blade is also useful for targeted removal of individual plant stems that have grown above the desired canopy height, as the curve allows the scissor tip to approach the cut point from above at a natural angle without disturbing surrounding plants.
