Air Stone – Cylinder 10cm

The cylindrical 10cm air stone is designed for aquariums and sumps where a taller, more concentrated bubble column is needed. Its elongated ceramic body produces a continuous dense stream of fine bubbles along its full length, creating vigorous surface agitation and superior gas exchange compared to a disc model of the same volume.

The cylinder shape allows it to be placed vertically behind a sponge filter or internal filter, augmenting its oxygenation output. It is also commonly used in fry-rearing tanks where high dissolved oxygen is critical to survival rates, and in hospital tanks where elevated oxygenation supports stressed or recovering fish.

Like all ceramic air stones, the cylinder benefits from periodic acid soaking to clear mineral deposits and maintain peak bubble production.
