Airstone Round 10cm

The Airstone Round 10cm is a large-diameter airstone that generates an expansive column of fine bubbles, making it the right choice for high-bioload tanks, large cichlid setups, goldfish aquariums, and any situation where substantial oxygenation is required. The wide circular surface area distributes airflow across a broad base, creating a visually striking bubble curtain effect from a round form.

This size airstone requires a moderately powerful pump — at minimum a 4–6L/min unit — to push air through all pores evenly and create the characteristic fine-bubble column. Insufficient pump pressure results in air escaping through the path of least resistance rather than evenly across the stone's surface.

The 10cm diameter means the stone can serve as the sole aeration device in tanks up to 200 litres under moderate stocking, or as a powerful supplementary aerator in heavily stocked systems. Its size makes it impractical in small or heavily planted tanks but highly effective in bare-bottom, goldfish, or cichlid displays.
