Airstone Round 2.5cm

The Airstone Round 2.5cm is the smallest standard round airstone available, designed for nano aquariums, desktop tanks, and tight spaces where a larger airstone would be impractical. When connected to an air pump, it produces a column of fine, dense bubbles that maximise the air-to-water contact surface for efficient gas exchange and oxygenation.

Fine-pored airstones of this size are often used at the base of small sponge filters or as standalone oxygenators in shrimp tanks, betta tanks, and fry rearing containers. The gentle bubble size also makes them visually attractive in display tanks, producing an elegant rising column rather than large, noisy bubbles.

The stone is made from compressed mineral or ceramic material that wears gradually with use and will eventually require replacement as pores become clogged with mineral deposits. Regular soaking in a dilute vinegar solution can extend service life. A standard 4mm airline tubing connector fits directly into the barb on the stone.
