Albino Dojo Loach

The Albino Dojo Loach is a true albino strain of Misgurnus anguillicaudatus, lacking melanin to produce a pale cream-white body with pink-red eyes. The sinuous, eel-like body shape is shown off particularly well by the absence of mottled patterning.

Personality and care requirements are exactly as the standard weather loach. Albino individuals may be slightly more sensitive to bright light, so providing shaded retreat areas under plants or décor is beneficial.

They are equally hardy and interactive, recognising feeding times and investigating every corner of their tank. Groups of two or three albino dojos together make a visually impressive display.
