Albino Red Guppy Male

The Albino Red Guppy carries the albino gene which eliminates black melanin, producing distinctive red eyes and softening the body colouration to warm cream and orange tones. The tail retains full red-orange pigmentation, creating a gentle but vivid display fish.

Albino guppies tend to be slightly more sensitive to bright lighting than pigmented strains and appreciate subdued or planted tanks that reduce direct light stress. Their vision is also slightly reduced, so competition from more aggressive feeders should be minimised.
