Ammonia Reagent Refill Set

The Ammonia Reagent Refill Set contains replacement bottles of Reagent 1 (salicylate indicator) and Reagent 2 (cyanurate catalyst) compatible with most standard two-part ammonia liquid test kits. Purchasing reagent refills rather than complete new kits is more economical and reduces plastic waste by reusing the existing test tube, colour card, and instructions.

Each refill set provides approximately 90 tests — sufficient for around three months of twice-weekly testing plus cycling periods in a typical freshwater aquarium. The reagents are supplied in the same concentration and formulation as new kit reagents, ensuring consistent colour accuracy with the existing colour comparator card.

Refill sets are particularly valuable for aquarists who test ammonia frequently during fish-in cycling, disease treatment, or high-density rearing of juvenile fish.
