API Ammonia Test Kit

The API Ammonia Test Kit detects toxic ammonia levels in freshwater aquariums across a range of 0 to 8 ppm using a two-part liquid reagent system. Ammonia is the most dangerous water quality parameter during tank cycling and can quickly reach lethal levels in overstocked or newly established aquariums. This kit provides approximately 130 tests and is simple to use: add water sample, apply reagents, and compare the resulting color to the chart. Detecting even low levels of ammonia (0.25 ppm) allows fishkeepers to take corrective action before livestock are harmed. Compatible with both chlorinated tap water and conditioned aquarium water.
