API Leaf Zone Fertiliser

API Leaf Zone Fertiliser is the larger 503ml version of API's chelated iron and potassium plant supplement, providing the same leaf-health benefits as the standard Leaf Zone in a more economical bulk format suited to larger aquariums or frequent dosers. Chelated iron and soluble potassium are delivered directly to plant leaves for rapid uptake, bypassing the need for root absorption.

Regular weekly dosing with Leaf Zone prevents and corrects the two most visually obvious plant nutrient deficiencies in lightly fertilised freshwater tanks: iron deficiency (interveinal chlorosis — yellowing between leaf veins) and potassium deficiency (pinholes and leaf edge browning). Both deficiencies are common in community tanks where fish are the only nutrient source.

Leaf Zone is not a complete fertiliser and works best as a targeted supplement in an otherwise well-stocked tank, or alongside a broader NPK fertiliser in heavily planted low-fish setups.
