API Melafix

API Melafix is derived from the essential oil of the Melaleuca (tea tree) plant, which contains cineole — a naturally occurring compound with well-documented antibacterial properties. It treats a wide range of common bacterial fish diseases including fin rot, tail rot, eye cloud, mouth fungus, and open body wounds caused by injury or aggression.

Beyond its antibacterial action, Melafix actively promotes the regeneration of damaged fins and tissue. Regular use during a disease course helps accelerate recovery and restore the fish's appearance. It is gentle enough to use in community tanks without removing fish and does not disrupt the biological filter.

Melafix pairs well with API Pimafix for a broader-spectrum treatment that addresses both bacterial and fungal co-infections simultaneously.
