Aquarium Silicone Sealant 310ml

Aquarium Silicone Sealant 310ml is a 100% neutral-cure silicone specifically formulated for aquarium construction and repair. Unlike general-purpose building silicones, aquarium-grade silicone contains no anti-mould additives or solvent agents that are toxic to fish and invertebrates. This sealant bonds permanently to glass, acrylic, and ceramic surfaces and cures to a flexible, waterproof seal that withstands continuous water immersion indefinitely.

A 310ml cartridge is sufficient to re-seal a medium aquarium or construct a small custom tank from cut glass panels. The neutral-cure formula means no acetic acid outgassing during cure, making it safe for use in enclosed spaces. Proper surface preparation — clean, dry, grease-free glass — is essential for a lasting bond. The sealant is available in clear and black formulations; black is preferred for rear and base seams where it creates a cleaner visual border and hides algae buildup in the silicone bead over time.
