Bar Airstone 30cm

The Bar Airstone 30cm is suited to larger aquariums from 100 litres upward, producing a full-width or near-full-width bubble curtain along the rear glass for dramatic visual effect and effective oxygenation. The 30cm format works particularly well in standard 120cm and 90cm aquariums where it covers a substantial portion of the rear panel.

Heavily stocked cichlid tanks, large community displays, and goldfish aquariums benefit most from the uniform aeration that a 30cm bar stone provides. The linear format distributes oxygen input across the full tank depth, preventing stagnant zones that can develop with point-source aerators in long tanks.

A pump output of at least 6L/min is required to drive a 30cm bar stone evenly; undersized pumps will only push air through the nearest section of the stone and leave the far end inactive. The connection barb is typically located at one end or centrally, and the unit should be mounted flat against the substrate level using suction cups.
