Brine Shrimp Hatchery Kit

The Brine Shrimp Hatchery Kit is an indispensable piece of equipment for serious fry raisers. The inverted cone design keeps brine shrimp cysts in constant circulation within a saline solution, maximising exposure to light and oxygen for the highest possible hatch rate. Most kits achieve first hatch within 24–36 hours at 26°C.

Once hatched, the nauplii naturally concentrate at the brightest point of the cone, allowing clean harvesting via the collection tap at the base. The kit includes airline tubing, a precision flow valve, and a collection cup. Freshly hatched Artemia nauplii are exceptionally nutritious and represent the gold standard first food for marine and freshwater fry alike. Multiple cones can be run in rotation to ensure a continuous daily supply.
