Brine Shrimp Net

Newly hatched brine shrimp nauplii are tiny enough to pass through standard aquarium nets, making a specialised ultra-fine harvest net an essential piece of equipment for the serious brine shrimp hatchery operator. This 110-micron nylon mesh net retains nauplii at all stages from first hatch through to several hours old, allowing clean, efficient harvesting that does not introduce salt water to the fry tank.

The short, rigid handle is sized for use directly over small hatchery cones, and the mesh area is large enough to drain the full contents of a standard 500ml hatchery batch in a single pour. After pouring the hatchery contents through the net, rinsing with a small amount of fresh dechlorinated water removes salt water residue and the empty cyst shells before tipping the nauplii directly into the feeding vessel. The mesh is durable and can be sanitised by boiling.
