Bubble Disc Airstone 10cm

The Bubble Disc Airstone 10cm scales up the flat-disc aeration concept to serve larger aquariums, providing a wide base of micro-bubble output that creates a broad, dense rising column of fine bubbles. The 10cm diameter makes it one of the most impressive visual aerators available, generating a thick pillar of micro-bubbles from a single low-profile disc unit.

At this size, the disc requires a pump with sufficient output — 4–6L/min minimum — to push air evenly through the entire diffusion surface. The result is a spectacular display suitable for large community tanks, cichlid setups, and display aquariums where visual impact is part of the design intent. Despite the impressive bubble output, micro-bubble aeration is gentler on fish than the surface turbulence created by large-bubble airstones.

The flat profile allows the 10cm disc to be positioned centrally on the substrate as a focal point, hidden behind hardscape elements, or placed along the rear wall as a wide-base oxygenator. In heavily planted tanks, the micro-bubble oxygenation helps compensate for nighttime oxygen reduction.
