CaribSea Eco-Complete

CaribSea Eco-Complete is one of the most biologically advanced planted aquarium substrates available, packaged in a liquid that contains live heterotrophic bacteria that immediately begin establishing the biological filtration cycle upon addition to the aquarium. This unique approach means Eco-Complete effectively seeds the nitrogen cycle at the same time as providing a nutrient-rich planting medium.

The substrate contains 25 essential elements for plant growth, including macro and micronutrients, and its spherical porous granules are designed to maximise both root contact surface area and water circulation through the root zone. The black colouration provides a striking, high-contrast aesthetic that mimics the iron-rich volcanic soils of tropical planted environments.

Eco-Complete is pH neutral and does not alter water chemistry, making it compatible with all freshwater setups.
