Chiller Temperature Controller

The Chiller Temperature Controller is a standalone digital thermostat unit designed specifically to manage aquarium chiller operation. It connects between the mains power and the chiller, using a temperature probe placed in the tank to monitor water temperature and cycle the chiller compressor on and off to maintain a precise setpoint.

Using a separate controller rather than relying on the chiller's built-in thermostat offers greater accuracy and the ability to set minimum compressor off-times that protect the compressor from short-cycling damage. The digital display shows current and target temperatures simultaneously, and configurable alarms alert the keeper to dangerous deviations.

Essential for valuable coldwater or reef setups where chiller reliability is non-negotiable, and for systems using titanium or bare-element chillers that lack their own integrated controls.
