Cichlid Breeding Cave Small Round

This small ceramic breeding cave provides a natural-looking enclosed spawning site for cichlids, corydoras, and bristlenose plecos that are genetically programmed to breed in caves and crevices. The round entrance opening is sized for fish up to approximately 8cm, making it ideal for species such as Apistogramma, Kribensis, and corydoras. Unglazed terracotta construction allows the cave to take on a natural weathered appearance over time and provides a slightly textured surface that many species prefer to deposit eggs on. Place among rockwork or partially buried in substrate for a natural effect. Rinse before first use and boil to remove any manufacturing residues.
