Standard PVC or silicone airline tubing is highly permeable to CO2 gas, causing significant loss of injected CO2 before it ever reaches the diffuser — particularly over longer tubing runs. This CO2-resistant silicone-blend tubing is formulated to minimise gas permeation, ensuring that the CO2 leaving the regulator arrives at the diffuser at the intended rate. The 4mm inner diameter is the aquarium hobby standard, fitting all common CO2 barbed fittings, bubble counters, check valves, and diffuser inlets. The 3-metre length is suitable for most single-tank setups with the regulator mounted nearby. The tubing is flexible and kink-resistant, allowing neat routing inside cabinets and along tank edges.
