CO2 Solenoid Valve 12V

This 12V normally-closed solenoid valve is an essential upgrade for any pressurised CO2 system not already fitted with automated CO2 control. By connecting this solenoid inline on the CO2 tubing between the regulator and diffuser, and plugging it into a timer socket aligned with the lighting schedule, CO2 injection can be automatically paused during the dark period when plants are not consuming CO2 and oxygen production has ceased. This protects fish and invertebrates from CO2 toxicity overnight while also extending cylinder life significantly. The normally-closed design means CO2 stops flowing immediately if power is cut, providing a fail-safe default state. Compatible with all standard 4mm CO2 tubing via barbed fittings.
