Copper Sulphate Solution 250ml

Copper is an essential micro-nutrient for plants, functioning as a cofactor in enzymes involved in photosynthesis, respiration, lignin synthesis, and superoxide dismutase activity. Deficiency is rare but presents as wilting young leaves, blue-green discolouration, and necrotic leaf tips.

This solution is formulated at a low concentration specifically for correcting copper deficiency in planted aquariums. It should only be used in tanks without sensitive invertebrates, as copper is highly toxic to shrimp, snails, and other molluscs even at trace concentrations.

In fish-only planted tanks the product is safe at the recommended dose. It should never be used as a routine supplement — only as a targeted corrective treatment — and copper levels should be verified with a test kit before and after dosing.
