Cryptocoryne aponogetifolia

Cryptocoryne aponogetifolia is a Philippine endemic and one of the tallest Cryptocoryne species, producing leaves up to 70 cm long that are long, narrow, and attractively undulate — much more like an Aponogeton than a typical Crypt. In large aquariums it creates flowing, dramatic background columns. Like C. usteriana, it grows slowly and tolerates low light, but it is generally more adaptable and easier to establish. It is a show-stopper species for aquarists who want large Crypt presence without the demands of high-light plants.
