Cryptocoryne wendtii 'Tropica'

Cryptocoryne wendtii 'Tropica' is a cultivar of the universally popular Sri Lankan wendtii selected for consistent performance and compact, well-formed growth. Its broad leaves display a rich brown-green colouration across a heavily hammered surface that catches and diffuses aquarium lighting beautifully. It remains more compact than some wendtii varieties, making it versatile for foreground and midground use in a wide range of aquarium sizes. Like all wendtii forms, it is forgiving of water quality variations and does not require CO2 or intensive fertilisation. It is an excellent first Cryptocoryne for newcomers to the planted tank hobby and a reliable staple for experienced aquascapers.
