Danio choprai Longfin

The Longfin form of Danio choprai, the Glowlight Danio, combines the stunning orange and blue iridescent banding of the wild type with the graceful, flowing extended fins of the longfin morph. Danio choprai originates from the Irrawaddy drainage of Myanmar and is celebrated as one of the most beautiful small danios available, with alternating bands of glowing orange and reflective blue running the length of the body. In the longfin form, the dorsal, caudal, pelvic, and anal fins are dramatically elongated, enhancing the visual impact of the school. Care requirements are identical to the standard form, but water flow should be gentler to protect the delicate fins and avoid fatigue. Avoid any fin-nipping species. Feed on high-quality small foods to maintain colour intensity.
