Digital Aquarium Thermometer

The Digital Aquarium Thermometer uses a submersible stainless-steel NTC probe connected by a thin cable to an external LCD display unit that mounts to the tank rim or sits beside the aquarium. The probe remains permanently in the water, providing continuous temperature monitoring without the need to handle or read a glass thermometer.

Accuracy of ±0.1°C is sufficient for even the most temperature-sensitive species, including discus, cardinal tetras, and corals. The display shows temperature in Celsius or Fahrenheit and many models include a minimum/maximum memory function to capture overnight temperature fluctuations.

The digital format eliminates the parallax reading errors associated with glass thermometers and the adhesive bonding issues of LCD strip thermometers. Battery life typically exceeds two years on a single LR44 coin cell.
