Egg Fungus Guard Treatment

Fungal infection of eggs is one of the leading causes of failed hatches in aquarium breeding. Saprolegnia and Achlya moulds spread rapidly from infertile eggs to healthy fertilised eggs, destroying entire clutches within 24–48 hours if left untreated. Egg Fungus Guard Treatment is a liquid antifungal additive formulated specifically for use in egg-incubation environments where broad-spectrum treatments like salt or formalin would be too harsh.

The active formula inhibits fungal spore germination and mycelium growth without affecting developing embryos at the recommended dose. Safe for use in both freshwater and brackish water incubation setups, it does not stain equipment and leaves no residue after the treatment period.
