Egg Hatching Container

The Egg Hatching Container is a purpose-built incubation vessel that provides the optimal conditions for developing eggs outside the parent tank. A fine mesh base allows waste to settle below the egg platform while an air stone placed underneath creates gentle upward water movement that oxygenates eggs and prevents fungal stagnation without physically disturbing the embryos.

Isolating eggs in a dedicated container eliminates the risk of predation by parents or tank mates and allows the breeder to add targeted antifungal treatments without affecting the main tank. The transparent walls allow close visual inspection of development stages. Suitable for fish eggs from most freshwater species as well as dwarf shrimp eggs removed from berried females.
