Extreme Firefly Shrimp

The Extreme Firefly Shrimp is a unique and relatively rare Neocaridina pattern morph displaying irregular spots and patches of colour — typically red, orange, or white — distributed across a translucent body, creating an eye-catching, unpredictable pattern unlike typical solid-colour or Rili Neocaridina forms. Each specimen has a slightly different spot distribution, making every shrimp individual.

Despite its unusual and collectible appearance, the Extreme Firefly retains the full hardiness and adaptability of Neocaridina. It tolerates the same broad range of water parameters as other Neocaridina morphs and breeds readily in stable conditions.

The patterning is maintained selectively but offspring can vary in spot intensity and distribution, making selective breeding of this morph an interesting project for dedicated shrimp keepers.
