Feegradei Danio

Danio feegradei is a seldom-imported species from the rivers of southern Myanmar, where it inhabits moderately clear, flowing waters over sandy and rocky substrates. It is a slender, streamlined fish with a vivid orange lateral stripe that contrasts attractively against its silver-blue flanks — a colour scheme that earns it occasional comparison to the Pearl Danio, though feegradei is slightly more colourful.

In the aquarium it displays all the hallmark traits of the genus: fast, active swimming, strong schooling instinct, and an eagerness to feed on almost anything offered.
