Flexible Bubble Wand 30cm

The Flexible Bubble Wand 30cm is a porous aeration wand built around a flexible inner core that allows it to be shaped and bent to suit the contours of the aquarium. Unlike rigid bar airstones, the flexible wand can follow the curve of a curved-front tank, wrap around a corner, or be arranged in a wave or arc pattern for creative aquascape aeration effects.

At 30cm, it provides a meaningful length of continuous bubble output in tanks from 60 to 150 litres, with the fine-pored membrane producing small, uniform bubbles along the full length when driven by an adequate pump. The flexibility also makes installation easier in tanks with decorations or plants along the rear wall, as the wand can be shaped to navigate around obstacles.

The wand connects to standard airline tubing at one end and requires a pump of approximately 3–6L/min for full even output. Suction cups or airline sinkers can be used to hold the shaped wand in position once the desired form has been established.
