Fluval AquaClear Impeller Brush Set

The Fluval AquaClear Impeller Brush Set contains a set of small-diameter brushes specifically sized to clean the impeller shaft, impeller housing, and intake tube of AquaClear hang-on-back filters. Regular cleaning of the impeller prevents flow rate reduction, noise, and premature motor wear caused by debris and biofilm buildup. The brushes feature stiff nylon bristles on flexible wire handles that conform to the curved internal surfaces of the impeller housing. This brush set is also compatible with many other hang-on-back and internal filters from different manufacturers where tube or impeller access diameters are similar. Recommended for use during every filter service interval, approximately every 4–6 weeks.
