Fluval Biological Enhancer contains a concentrated blend of nitrifying and beneficial bacteria specially formulated to rapidly populate filter media and establish a robust nitrogen cycle in new aquariums or recover a damaged biofilter. It is designed to work optimally with Fluval canister filters and media but is effective in any aquarium filtration system. The formula provides immediate biological support, reducing the risk of ammonia and nitrite spikes that can harm fish during the critical cycling period. For new tank setups, dose daily for the first week; for maintenance, dose with each water change. Safe for all freshwater fish, plants, and invertebrates.
