The Fluval C2 hang-on-back filter delivers an impressive 5-stage filtration process in a compact rear-mounted unit suitable for aquariums up to 75 litres. Its unique clip-on design requires no hose routing or under-cabinet space, making it ideal for smaller tanks and setups where space is limited. At 380 litres per hour and just 6 watts, it is exceptionally energy-efficient for its size. The five stages include mechanical pre-filtration, activated carbon chemical filtration, biological filtration via foam and bio-media, and an adjustable surface skimmer for removing the protein film that can restrict gas exchange. Refilling and priming after cleaning is effortless thanks to the self-priming clip-in mechanism.
