Freeze-Dried Tubifex Worm Cubes

Freeze-dried tubifex cubes are designed to be moistened briefly and pressed against the aquarium glass, where they adhere firmly and allow fish to graze throughout the day. This slow-release feeding method closely mimics the natural foraging behaviour of many species and reduces the competition and stress associated with broadcast feeding. As fish peck at the cube, small portions of tubifex break free and drift through the water, providing feeding opportunities for multiple tank inhabitants simultaneously. The process of feeding from a fixed point also provides valuable behavioural enrichment.
