Frodo Stone

Frodo Stones are compact, smooth-surfaced river pebbles named for their small, approachable scale — popularised in the aquascaping community as ideal foreground accent stones that add natural detail without dominating the composition. Their rounded, water-worn profiles contrast beautifully with the angular shapes of Seiryu or Mountain Stone, providing textural variety in multi-stone layouts.

The mixed grey, brown, and beige natural colour variation within a batch of Frodo Stones creates a realistic riverbed or stream-edge appearance when scattered across the foreground or used to edge substrate paths. Their manageable size makes them ideal for filling in gaps between larger hardscape pieces to create a seamless, naturally blended layout.

Frodo Stones are pH neutral and will not affect water chemistry. They are safe for shrimp tanks and all freshwater setups, and their smooth surfaces are gentle on the delicate barbels and undersides of bottom-dwelling fish.
