Fry Saver Nursery Box

The Fry Saver Nursery Box offers a more advanced solution than a simple net by using a double-wall construction that creates a gentle, passive water exchange. Water is drawn in through narrow slots in the outer wall, passes through the inner fry compartment, and exits at the top, providing constant fresh water circulation without the need for a separate pump or air line.

This passive flow system keeps water parameters in the nursery box identical to the main tank at all times, removing the risk of temperature shock or ammonia build-up that can affect fry in sealed containers. The slot spacing is sized to retain even the smallest newborn livebearer fry. The box clips to the inside of the tank and is available in sizes suited to tanks from 40 to 200 litres.
