Glass Thermometer – Standard

The Glass Thermometer – Standard is the traditional aquarium temperature measurement tool, consisting of a sealed glass tube filled with alcohol-based indicator fluid and marked with a Celsius and Fahrenheit scale. It attaches to the inside of the aquarium glass with an integrated suction cup and provides a continuous, at-a-glance temperature reading without any batteries or electronics.

Accuracy is typically ±1°C, sufficient for routine monitoring of most tropical aquariums. The thermometer is inert and does not affect water chemistry, and unlike electronic units it cannot malfunction due to battery failure or sensor corrosion.

An affordable, reliable backup thermometer that belongs in every fish room regardless of what digital monitoring is already in place. Useful during initial heater calibration, water changes, and quarantine setups.
