Gold Dojo Loach

The Gold Dojo Loach is a colour morph of Misgurnus anguillicaudatus in which normal mottled brown-olive pigmentation is replaced by a warm, uniform golden-yellow. The effect is striking, particularly against a dark substrate or planted backdrop.

Behaviour is identical to the standard form — these fish are highly interactive, learn feeding routines quickly, and remain active during barometric pressure changes. They appreciate company and do best in groups.

The gold colour is maintained by selective breeding. All other husbandry requirements are the same as for the standard weather loach, making this form equally accessible to beginners.
