Gold nutrient-rich planted soil stands apart from conventional black or brown planted substrates with its attractive warm golden hue, making it well suited to bright natural-style aquascapes where a lighter bottom colour is desirable without sacrificing nutritional performance. The substrate is formulated from mineralised organic compounds, volcanic additives, and chelated iron, providing an immediate nutrient supply to newly planted species.

The fine granule size promotes even root distribution and allows carpeting plants to spread across the substrate surface with ease. Mild pH buffering keeps water parameters stable in the slightly acidic to neutral range. A 3-litre bag is sufficient for a 30-cm cube nano tank at a 5 cm substrate depth.
