Danio tinwini is a tiny, recently described danio from northern Myanmar, known for the unusual rows of small golden rings or spots along its flanks that set it apart from all other danio species. At around 3 cm, it is suitable for nano setups, though it is more demanding than common danios about water quality. It does best in slightly cooler, clean, well-oxygenated water and appreciates a heavily planted environment.
