Hemianthus micranthemoides 'Mini'

Hemianthus micranthemoides 'Mini' is a tissue culture dwarf selection of Pearl Grass, featuring noticeably smaller leaves and a more compact growth habit than the standard H. micranthemoides. Its fine stems and tiny, round leaves form a frothy, bubbly-textured low mat that is perfectly scaled for nano aquariums and pico setups. The tissue culture form delivers a snail and algae-free start. Unlike the standard species which naturally grows taller, this selection stays compact with regular trimming and can be maintained as a foreground carpet under medium to high light. CO2 supplementation is recommended for the tightest, most uniform growth. An excellent choice where the aquarist wants a natural, slightly irregular carpet texture rather than the perfectly flat look of traditional carpet plants.
