This makes it significantly more practical for medium-sized aquariums where the standard Siamensis would outgrow its allotted space within weeks. It retains all the adaptability and easy-care characteristics of the parent form, tolerating a wide range of water parameters without complaint. Growth is moderate to fast, and the plant branches readily after trimming, creating a full and attractive midground to background mass. An excellent choice where a contained yet bold green stem plant is needed.
