Jardini Arowana

Scleropages jardini is native to the rivers of northern Queensland and southern Papua New Guinea, where it inhabits heavily vegetated, slow-moving tropical rivers. It is characterised by pink to orange-red crescent markings on each scale and a somewhat more robust body shape than its South American counterparts. It is generally regarded as the most aggressive arowana species, frequently attacking tankmates of all sizes without warning.
