JBL pH-Minus

JBL pH-Minus uses a blend of natural peat extracts and mild organic acids to reduce aquarium pH in a gradual, fish-safe manner. Unlike phosphoric-acid-based pH reducers that can cause abrupt drops, pH-Minus releases organic acids slowly, mimicking the natural acidifying processes that occur in blackwater biotopes.

The product lowers pH and adds a small amount of tannins and humic substances to the water, providing secondary benefits for soft-water species that thrive in blackwater-like conditions. It is particularly effective in soft, low-KH water where its buffering action is less opposed.
