Live Banana Worm Culture Starter

Banana worms (Panagrellus sp.) are a close relative of microworms but grow somewhat larger, making them an ideal bridging food for fry that have outgrown microworms but are not yet ready for baby brine shrimp or larger live foods. They share the same ease of culture, thriving on a banana-based substrate that gives them their characteristic name. Their slightly increased body size delivers more protein and fat per individual, supporting faster growth in juvenile fish during the critical early weeks of life.
