Magnetic Algae Cleaner – Large

The large magnetic algae cleaner is engineered for thick-glass aquariums and large display tanks where standard magnetic cleaners lack sufficient clamping force. Its powerful neodymium magnets maintain a firm grip through glass up to 12mm, ensuring the inner pad stays in contact with the glass at all angles including corners and curved sections.

The floating design of the outer handle means it rises to the water surface if the magnets separate — a practical safety feature for tall deep tanks. The wide scrubbing pad covers more area per pass, cutting cleaning time significantly for tanks over 200L.

Replaceable inner pads extend the life of the cleaner, with options typically available in standard and coarse textures for different algae types. Avoid using the coarse pad on ultra-clear low-iron glass where micro-scratches would be highly visible.
