Molybdenum Solution 250ml

Molybdenum is required in the smallest quantity of any essential plant micro-nutrient, yet its absence causes significant disruption to nitrogen metabolism. It is a cofactor for nitrate reductase, the enzyme that converts nitrate to ammonium for amino acid synthesis, and for nitrogenase in nitrogen-fixing organisms.

Molybdenum deficiency presents as marginal scorch, cupping of older leaves, and poor growth in nitrogen-replete tanks — symptoms that can be mistakenly attributed to other causes. It is most likely to occur in tanks using RO or distilled water without comprehensive remineralisation.

This product provides sodium molybdate in a safe, dilute solution. At the recommended dose it is completely non-toxic to fish, invertebrates, and beneficial bacteria. It integrates into any trace element dosing programme without interaction.
