Nano Powerhead 500L/h

The Nano Powerhead 500L/h is a small submersible water circulation pump designed for aquariums from 30 to 80 litres, providing targeted water movement, surface agitation, and directional current to supplement or replace other filtration flow. At 500L/h, it turns the full tank volume over 6–16 times per hour depending on tank size — providing the circulation that prevents dead spots and distributes heat, oxygen, and nutrients evenly.

Nano powerheads are popular in planted tanks where directed flow from a powerhead can be used to create a natural current effect and prevent CO2 depletion in densely planted areas. They are also used in cichlid tanks to simulate the wave action of natural lake or river environments. The compact motor housing fits discreetly in small tanks without dominating the aquascape.

Most units include a venturi inlet that can be connected to an airline to entrain micro-bubbles into the outflow, combining aeration and circulation in one device. A flow adjuster allows output to be reduced if the full 500L/h creates too much turbulence for small fish.
